SwissNetto is an independent online information service providing Swiss salary calculation tools and financial guidance for residents and professionals in Switzerland. 2. Scope of This Policy

3. Salary Calculator — No Personal Data Storage

The Swiss salary calculator is processed entirely client-side in your browser. The salary figures, canton selection, civil status, and number of children that you enter into the calculator are never transmitted to our servers. They are processed in your browser's JavaScript runtime and discarded when you close or navigate away from the page. We do not log, store, or analyze your salary inputs. We have no access to this data and make no record of it.

This is a fundamental architectural choice: the calculator requires no backend, no database, and no transmission of user data. You can verify this by examining the page source and network requests in your browser's developer tools.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

SwissNetto uses cookies and similar tracking technologies as follows:

• Strictly necessary cookies: Session and functional cookies required for the website to operate correctly. These do not collect personal information and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

7. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / revDSG)

Where data processing falls within the scope of the GDPR or Swiss revDSG, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Restriction of processing

• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based
• Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at edoeb.admin.ch

10. Children's Privacy

SwissNetto is a professional financial information tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
